THE START OF YOUR AI JOURNEY
PROCESS ANALYSIS

The in-depth process analysis will bring to fore issues that are hampering the process performance.

We will turn these issues into opportunities for (AI-based) automation.

Some of the issues and observations may not be entirely new, but we will present them in a way that should lead to new conclusions that will trigger a momentum for change.

Our expertise in process analysis, our knowledge about (AI) automation technologies and how to deploy them will be the ingredients for this important first phase.

Process analysis – what we do:

  • Establish a (high-level) process map of the organisation.
  • Conduct the detailed process analysis – see approach below.
  • Identify automation ideas & opportunities with focus on AI.
  • Capture the findings in the IPA template – see below – and present them to Management.

Process analysis – what we analyse:

We focus on these fundamental aspects of any process.

It is these aspects that where potential for improvement by means of automation can be found.

How we capture & display the results:

To capture all results from the process analysis we use the Intial Process Assessment (IPA) template to the right.

The IPA displays all key information in a way that is also suited to present the results to senior management to gain their understanding and support.

With the Initial Process Assessment template we create a joined view for all stakeholders
on a process, its characteristics and its automation potential.
One view for a joined decision.

ALIGNING BEFORE WE START
SCOPING

Before we start with the analysis we recommend to conduct a scoping session with all stakeholders and address key questions to ensure early alignment.

Scoping – what we will align on:

  • Why and where to start with the process analysis?
  • What is the current and desired future state and the delta?
  • How could the transformation of processes help to close the delta?
  • Where in the enterprise are the biggest problems?
  • Which solutions to the various problems have the highest potential, i.e. what should be in scope?
